Aleksandre Japaridze (Alex Jaffar)
was born on March 12, 1988 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
He completed his bachelor's degree in filmmaking at the Film and Theatre University in Tbilisi. After earning his bachelor's degree in Georgia, Alex spent two years as a guest student in Germany at Kunsthochschule Kassel.
From 2012 to 2022, Alex gained experience in the film and advertising industry in Georgia, as well as on international film sets. More details in CV.
From 2022 to 2024, Alex completed his Master of Arts in Cinematography at Hamburg Media School. His films have been screened at numerous international film festivals worldwide, including the
32nd EnergaCAMERIMAGE in Poland.
